The general condition of this unrestored Datsun 2000 is unbelievable! It has matching number plates on the engine and on the chassis, and is in original condition! It has always been stored in a climate controlled garage, and was carefully cared and maintained.

It has been garaged since 1987, and Recently it has only been driven occasionally on a sunny day to keep the engine in tune, and it has always been stored carefully. For a near half-century car in original condition, it is immaculate inside and out. The engine is the ORIGINAL U20 1982 CC ENGINE 135 H.

P. along with the 5-speed manual tranny. Compression on each cylinder is 120 PSI. It only has had one fresh repaint, and the original body paint underneath shows it was in amazing condition. The undercarriage is ALL ORIGINAL and has never been undercoated and you can see there is ZERO RUST! Not even one little pinhole. It is hard to believe this car has never been restored it is SO CLEAN!

It has NEW smooth and glossy paint with only a few minor imperfections that are really only noticeable from from close up. NOTE: This Datsun 2000 HAS NOT been restored.

Just one simple repaint with no body work as evidenced by the undercarriage. It has survived time and shows its age very well. This Datsun 2000 Fairlady starts right up from stone cold, and runs and drives! The engine has incredible performance and operation. The engine is ORIGINAL along with the tranny. Compression on each cylinder is 120 PSI. It accelerates quite surprisingly, and really moves. It has had all of the recommended maintenance performed. The lights all work. is absolutely ZERO rust or corrosion on the body that is more than just minor surface staining patina.
