Another beautiful Basil Classic.this 1964 Oldsmobile 442 has been handpicked and meets Joe Basil's standards of excellence and tradition of fine automobiles since 1951.

This vehicle is truly one of a kind and one of the cleanest, unmolested 442's that you will find! Buy with confidence! This vehicle is part of a collection of 442's we purchased

from a gentleman in Chicago. He individually handpicked each of these cars to fit the high-quality standard he was looking for. This collection of 442's ranged from 1964-1971 and took 25 years to build! Unfortunately, due to heath issues the gentleman was having, he needed to part with his meticulously chosen collection, that he loved, and cared for greatly.

Although it is an unfortunate situation, it brings great opportunity for you to own a piece of history. These cars are truly one of a kind, and some of the cleanest and rarest, show quality 442's that you will find! This 1964 442 is an excellent example of an unmolested, original car. The way you see this car is the way it showed

up at our dealership! We purchased this vehicle from a gentleman out of Chicago along with more of his collection of 442's. The original owner had the car in San Dimas California, and the car has had a total of only 3 owners!

This is the best example of an original, untouched car that was in the collection! This vehicle is a great color combo, with a white exterior with a red interior. The paint on this car is in excellent condition and the body is laser straight! This car has only had one respray, back in 1984. The surrounding chrome trim and bumpers are also in excellent condition, along with the rest of the exterior such as the wire wheels, grill, moldings, glass, and badging! The

red line tires look great on this car and nicely go along with the red interior!

Later model hub caps have been fitted the vehicle. This car even has the original T3 headlights that are rare and hard to come by! This is a prime example of a survivor car! The all-original red vinyl interior is also in excellent condition, especially considering the age of the vehicle! Take a look at the carpet, the door panels, headliner, steering wheel, dashboard, and everything else. all is in spectacular shape! Under the hood is the 330ci V8, paired with a 4-speed manual Transmission, this car is a true 442! This is also a no option car! No power windows, locks, seats, brakes, steering, A/C or even a radio.

This is a true bare bones driver car! Someone walked into a dealership and said, " I want a 442 with the 330, 4 speed and nothing else. and this is what they got! The odometer states 61,228 at the condition backs it up! The engine compartment also looks as good as new! The trunk is super clean and even still carries the spare tire! Check out all of the door and trunk jams as well, all are in impressively clean condition! The undercarriage of this car is also spectacular! Take a look at the detailed undercarriage photos provided in the gallery. You can tell that this car was properly maintained and cared for by its previous owners.

This car was also stored properly, and only driven on the nicest of days and the undercarriage backs that up! The history of this vehicle speaks for itself: Great example of an unmolested, original, survivor car! This car is in excellent condition inside and out! Great color combo white with red interior Original interior Laser straight body! One respray 330ci V8! 4-speed manual transmission! 3-owner car No option car! No power windows, steering, brakes, A/C and not even a radio! True drivers' car! You can tell that this car was always properly maintained and cared for by its previous owners!

Just look and you can tell that this vehicle was very well cared for by its owners and kept in show condition! When you drive this vehicle, it has the feel that you're looking for.runs and drives just like new! This is a no excuse vehicle. This car will make a fine collector's piece for you and your family for years to come! Instead of looking at your Dream car Drive it We take trades and have financing available. This is a 1962 Impala non ss non convertible with a 327 rebuilt engine, bored to a 30, with a 2 speed powerglide manual transmission. Engine has less than 1000 miles on it, it was painted blue because at one point I was going to paint the car blue. This car has a bunch of new parts on it, much unseen. New parts include: rebuilt engine, polished aluminum Weiand high rise intake, Demon 4 barrel carburetor with electric choke, plugs wires, MSD aluminum distributor, polished Edelbrock fuel pump, fuel tank, water pump, thermostat, heater core, polished radiator, chrome alternator, wiring, tail light lenses, Dakota digital guages, Ride Tech air suspension level 2 (The LEVEL 2 system provides more tuning with the addition of a STRONGARM™ front kit and the enhanced Ride Pro ™ control system. The front Cool Ride ® system is a simple bolt-on install that comes with our STRONGARM™ tubular control arms. The rear STRONGARM™ system adds more precise control of the rear suspension to provide a better ride and increased handling. The 5 gallon compressor system provides electronic control with the use of Ride Pro. The digital controller allows 3 air pressure presets to automatically adjust ride height. ) , Foose Legend Wheels staggered 20x8.5 front 20x10 rear, new Nitto Tires, rocker panel moldings (not installed), polished aluminum water pump pulley(not installed), hood springs(not installed). I hope I haven't forgotten anything. The car needs new paint and some body work. Most of the rust seen on the car is surface rust except for the front part of quarter panels, and bottom part of front fenders. The trunk floor needs replacing, and the hood also has a couple of spots that need work. With a new paint job, this car will be ready for the road and shows if you want it for that. Much of the work has been done for you. This car will run and drive. The only thing that doesn't work is the wipers(motor), horn, back up lights, and power seats. Probably some miss wiring on my part. It needs some fine tuning on the Dakota gauges and air ride. I do have the side trim on the passenger side and door handle. The engine is solid, doesn't over heat, and runs smooth. It has small minor power steering leaks from the hoses, but that's it.
