1948 Ford Model 79 Deluxe Station Wagon Excellent condition perfect for tailgating.

Wood is solid, mostly original and has a great patina. The body is also solid with no rust. The car has a radio, heater, clock, and Columbia 2-speed rear end which all work as Henry intended. The finish is black with correct Tacoma cream wheel pin-striping. Interior

is brown vinyl on all three seats, as original. The following upgrades have been professionally done: -Rebuilt and correctly detailed original flathead with Mercury crank-Dual exhausts, a flathead essential! -Rebuilt original Ford 3-speed transmission with column shift-New wiring harness-New wheel bearings seals-Rebuilt wheel brake cylinders-New door and tailgate weather stripping-Rebuilt clock and radio-Installation of correct door and hood bumpers-Rebuilt vacuum wiper motor-Remove top and install proper backing under top material-Installation of new shock absorbers-Repaint interior hardware and rear floor pan-Installation of front seat belts The dash has been professionally refinished in the correct maple woodgrain finish.

It also has the correct chrome strip between dash and front window garnish moldings, often missing on these cars.
