This is a 1978 Y88 Special Edition Trans Am this is a one year only package they where only produce from mid January of 78' till mid July so very limited prodution only 6,500 automatics produced and 1,300 4 Speed cars , they were also known as the gold package the cars were equipped with gold emblems, t tops, dash trim, steering wheel, ect.
and of course painted all gold this prituclar car now has a freshly rebuilt 455 pontiac motor and fresh 4 speed transmission the clutch is new as well as the Disc Brake posi rear end the car has all new bushings and weatherstrips brake lines, fuel lines, E Brake cables, Ect.
The interior in the car is immaculate seats are all original the carpet and door cards are new the rims on the car are brand new Year One 17in wheels all wrapped in new rubber the car is spotless underneath just ike it is on top. The gauges have been retrfitted with new ones to give the car that more modern taste. This car was a high option car from the factory having power window, rear defrost as well as A/C. This
car is amazing to drive it sounds amazing with the new dual exhuast and has no rattles or annoying noise starts everytime with no issues just pump the petal twice and twist the key and its ready to be taken anywhere and with the 4 wheel disc brakes it stops on a dime!
